For school administrators looking for a way to encourage more outdoor play for students (and faculty!), disc golf is a winner. The course TinLid designed at Lakefield College School strikes a balance between challenging and accessible and welcomes players of all calibers. Designed to trace the perimeter of the school grounds, the course starts and finishes behind the main administration building and travels in a clockwise direction. It runs alongside the main athletic fields, delves into wooded areas and makes use of under-used sections of the property. The layout also lends itself to creative interpretation as players are encouraged to go ‘safari’ and develop their own hole options.
