Thames Grove Conservation Area
Chatham-Kent, ON

A perfect example of an underutilized municipal holding that could be easily transformed into a recreational space for the community. Located in a large suburban park along the shores of the Thames River, this nine-hole course provides a relatively easy layout for all to enjoy. Built in the fall of 2018, it features concrete tee pads measuring 5’ x 10’. Of note, the municipality had planted a number of trees in the park over the years, so it will be interesting to see how the character of the course gradually changes over time as they grow and challenge shot selection.
